The purple shaded areas on the map represent the turf that the Ballas own.
When it is flashing red that means you are in the middle of a gang war or if a rival gang is trying
to take over turf that you have already won. You have to survive three waves of rival gang members coming at you in large
groups.
Once you have survived all three waves, the turf you were fighting over will turn green on the map.
You will still need to keep your guard up because the rival gangs will keep trying to take it back.
